CES 2017: Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphone in white unveiled

Xiaomi unveiled a white coloured variant of its MI MIX smartphone at the CES 2017. The Xiaomi MI MAX, a limited-edition handset made in collaboration with French designer Philippe Stark, was introduced in October last year in two variants…

– with 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 34,500) and
– 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 39,500)

 

The Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphone was previously available only in black. There was no pricing information given though the firm might announce the price during a local launch event.

Furthermore, a notable highlight of the Xiaomi MI MIX is it’s bezel-less display with curved edges on top, a 91.3 per cent screen-to-body ration and a ceramic body. The MI Max also boasts of a piezoelectric acoustic ceramic earpiece speaker, as well as the ultrasonic proximity sensor rather than the traditional front-facing infrared sensor.
