THE monthly Growers’ and Makers’ Market is on tomorrow, August 12, from 7.30am to noon at Memorial Close, Montville.
Visitors have plenty of goods to browse and buy, with fresh produce, craft and homemade wares on sale.
The market has live music, food and drinks, and this month features a photo display and art exhibition.
The Changing Face of Montville: From Farm to Cafe display has been put together by the Montville Historical Group to showcase historical photos from the area and will be held in the nearby Montville Hall.

The art exhibition, put together by the Blackall Range Visual Artists, captures the past 50 years or so.
It covers the changes from a small rural town to a popular hinterland tourist destination.

THE Whitlams are coming to The Shed, Aussie World, tonight, August 11.
The four-piece band will bring its unique indie rock/piano rock sound to the Coast on the back of the successful 25th Anniversary Tour.

THE Nambour Salvation Army Band will combine with Sunshine Brass in a concert on Sunday, August 13.
Tickets for the performances at Nambour Salvation Army Hall in Maud St will be available at the door and afternoon tea will be served.

THE Sunshine Coast International Readers and Writers Festival Inc is being held this weekend at the Coolum Civic Centre and nearby Jack Morgan Park.
This new festival of just two years’ vintage features more than 100 international, national and local authors, poets, singer-songwriters, journalists, photographers, illustrators, publishers, cultural heritage specialists and environment specialists.
One-day and two-day passes are available that cover all aspects of the festival, while separate tickets are available for tomorrow night’s Sunshine Coast Slam Poetry Championships and original songwriters’ night.
