A SUNSHINE Coast skateboarder has shot to international stardom thanks to one of the world’s most popular DJs.
Milan Somerville has made a name for himself online thanks to his unique brand of dance, conducted solely on the back of his skateboard.
The 24-year-old man became a viral sensation with his YouTube video ‘Sepakuma’.
The shirtless, bow-tie wearing skateboarder let his moves do the talking to a Dolly Parton remix.
The video has attracted over 560,000 views, and caught the eye of Skrillex’s videographers.
“After I released my viral video Sepakuma it obviously got heaps of responses from everybody which was really cool,” Mr Somerville told Seven News.
“I’ve never had anything like that before; I was like ‘oh my god’.”
The views for Mr Somerville’s first viral video now pale in comparison to Skrillex’s video for song ‘Would You Ever’, which has garnered more than 6.2 million views since the end of July.
