Elon Musk's warning to the world

ELON Musk has delivered a warning to the world hours after flying halfway around it to work on his relationship with Gold Coast-based star Amber Heard.

A day after the SpaceX founder’s whirlwind trip to see Heard, he tweeted we should all be far more worried about Artificial Intelligence (AI) development than tensions with North Korea.

“If you are not concerned about AI safety, you should be. Vastly more risk than North Korea,” he tweeted his 11.3 million followers.

It was accompanied by a photo of a woman cowering in fear and the message “in the end, the machines will win”.

“Nobody likes being regulated, but everything (cars, planes, food, drugs etc) that’s a danger to the public is regulated. AI should be too,” he tweeted on Saturday.

His warning came the morning after he departed the Gold Coast following a quick trip to catch up with Heard – they went for breakfast together at Miami’s Paddock Bakery.

The pair later released a statement exclusively to the Bulletin, saying every relationship has its ups and downs, and theirs was a normal one “with a giant magnifying glass applied”.

They also said the distance between them had been “really tough”.

She has been on the Gold Coast filming Aquaman while he is US-based busy with the latest Tesla car unveiling and Space X’s looming Falcon Heavy rocket launch.
